The Future of Finance program is an opportunity for women in University (1st to 4th years) to accelerate their career pursuits. Students will explore roles within the finance industry, all while connecting with industry professionals. The EWIF Advisory Committee - comprised of inspiring women working in various sectors of the industry - will provide informal mentorship to the students enrolled, giving students the valuable opportunity to develop relationships with and learn from role models in the industry.

The Future of Finance Program is currently active at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver)
EWIF Roundtables
Students will prepare for and contribute to roundtable discussions with peers and industry guests on a variety of finance, business and leadership-related topics. Roundtables will provide students with the opportunity to develop their public speaking skills and confidence in contributing to discussions in a boardroom format.
Development Workshops
To help bring the next cohort of high-achieving women into the finance industry, students will attend weekly workshops with the purpose of cultivating valuable career-building skills and knowledge. Our members will grow both personally and professionally, fostering their potential to embark on leadership journeys.
Events & Networking
Members will attend speaker and networking events to meet and build relationships with professionals. In doing this, students will receive first-hand career insights, as well as the opportunity to develop and professional network that includes other aspiring students in addition to inspiring women in the industry.
